What Counts as a Plate?

A billable plate is counted strictly when:

  • • A vehicle is detected
  • • AND a license plate is successfully extracted (OCR completed)
  • • AND the result is stored or returned by the system

Anti-Overbilling Protections

To prevent unexpected charges in busy environments:

  • • Duplicate detection filtering is applied automatically.
  • • Short-term re-reads of the same stationary vehicle are merged into a single billing event.
  • • System includes automated alerts at 70%, 90%, and 100% capacity.
